Hi, I’m Jamie

I have over 18 years experience crafting 360° campaigns for brands and driving business growth through marketing that connects with people.

I’m a deeply curious, empathic person who cares about others. People I work with, people we market to, and, most importantly, the people closest to me.

A woman with long blond hair wearing a light blue blouse and black jeans, posing with her hand on her hip and smiling in front of a plain, light-colored background.
A woman and a young girl walk hand in hand along a sidewalk in a residential neighborhood. The woman is wearing a gray t-shirt dress and sneakers, and the girl is wearing a white dress with colorful polka dots and matching shoes. Trees and parked cars line the street.

I didn’t set out to work in marketing.

I studied Psychology and thought that would be my path. But I stumbled into the advertising world instead — first leading sales teams and selling sponsorships, ads, and branded content, and then marketing.

Still, Psychology fuels how I approach work and relationships. I’m big on understanding human emotion, how our brains function, and what motivates behavior. That lens drives my curiosity — and it’s made me a more effective and thoughtful marketer, growth accelerator, and leader.

I’ve worn many hats in marketing and bring wide range. But the kind of work that lights me up?

Helping brands tell stories. Plenty of brands produce content, but not all are great storytellers. I help them find their voice and connect through stories and experiences that resonate.

Turning initial ideas into brand platforms. I spot strong concepts early and partner with creatives to shape how they come to life, what touchpoints make the most sense, and how to drive results. I love execution too; I just love the initial shaping — turning a kernel of an idea into a larger brand or campaign ecosystem.

Building. Whether it’s a new framework, brand platform, partnership, division, or a fresh approach to an old problem — I’m energized by creating what doesn’t yet exist.

I was born in Thunder Bay, ON, Canada but now live in Chicago with my awesome husband and our equally awesome daughter. I love reading (about humans, tech, emotion, and romance), gardening, singing (don’t ask me about my go-to karaoke song), traveling, and I dabble in painting and writing as stress-busting creative outlets. For those of you who like personality tests — I’m a Myers Briggs ESTP, Enneagram 8 (7 wing), and an Eagle on the bird test.

My Values

If any of the below resonates with you, we’ll likely get along

Show You Care

Successful leaders, businesses, and brands care about people. And they drive better relationships and outcomes as a result

Be Intentional

Meaningful interactions win. Brands to humans. Humans to communities. Leaders to teams. Showing up with intention takes more effort but drives connection

Get Curious About Others

Deeper understanding is paramount to showing up with intention. You need to peel back the layers to understand people — be it your teams, audience, or communities.

No Islands

It’s a team sport, always. I am not a leader who sits on the sidelines or dictates from an office. I stay close to my team and the work — rolling up my sleeves, guiding, and challenging when needed.

Ask “Why”

You cannot ask “why?” enough. It’s key to unlocking a deeper understanding of nearly everything — people, motivations, goals, and obstacles.

Be Truthful

Candor is kind. Kind candor is even kinder. No one benefits from sidestepping honesty. Just be a good human when you deliver it.
